Through tailored workshops, strategic partnerships, and cultural engagement, we simplify crucial life-saving concepts like bleeding control, opioid overdose response, harm reduction, and CPR.

GoodWorks is headquartered in Prince George's County, Maryland and serves communities across the county, Washington DC, and the surrounding region. We work alongside local government, schools, faith organizations, and community groups to bring life-saving training and resources to the neighborhoods that need them most.

Our volunteers are the backbone of everything we do. From assisting at training sessions to building and distributing first aid kits, they show up for their communities when it matters. Whether you can give a few hours or want to make it a regular commitment, there is a place for you on this team

"I lost a childhood friend to gun violence shortly after graduating high school. A month later, I shipped out to military training to become an Air Force medic. That loss stayed with me through several years of service and eventually becoming a clinician. It shaped everything. I saw firsthand that the people closest to an emergency are often the least prepared to help, and that the communities hit hardest by violence and health disparities are the same ones with the least access to life-saving training. I founded GoodWorks to change that."
